Due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak the Church of England has advised that all public worship should be suspended immediately. This means that for the foreseeable future there will be no services at St Paul’s Seaton on Sundays (9.30 a.m.) and Thursdays (9.30 a.m.) and St Peter’s, Camerton (first Sunday of the month @ 11.00 a.m.). We are, however, at present required to continue to provide baptisms, weddings and funerals, although there are restrictions and advice to be adhered to.

We have also been asked where possible to have churches open for people to call in for times of quiet reflection and private prayer.

In response to this we are offering the following:

St Paul’s Seaton will be open on Thursdays from 9.15 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

St Paul’s will also be open on Sundays from 10.00 a.m. to 12 noon (although occasionally there may be a baptism taking place at 11.00 a.m. which will affect this and the church will be closed during the baptism service.

Each Sunday at 9.30 a.m. beginning on 22nd March 2020 we hope to be able to share a short act of ‘worship’ around readings and prayer for the day. This will be available live on our Facebook page Seaton St Paul’s Church. If you have access to this please do join us.

At present there are no plans in place for St Peter’s Camerton.

We will provide further information as things proceed.

Please take care of yourselves and each other.

Rev Ian.
